In the fall of 2005, the Alpha Lambda Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. implemented a college
recruitment project called Code Blue.
Code Blue includes a campus scavenger hunt designed for high school students in the 11th and 12th grade to tour the school and learn about the process of applying for college. The purpose is to make them aware of all the requirements to get accepted, learn more about financial aid, and gain a network of TAMU faculty and students, knowledgeable in the admissions process.
The results of this event were amazing with over 10% of the participants becoming accepted to our school (Office of Admissions). Now a 4-time award winning project, we believe that this program can really influence your future college choice. This program is now entering into its' fourth year and we are always looking to expand with more schools that would like a chance to participate in this unique program.
The date for the 2010 class of CODE BLUE is OCTOBER 7th at 8am.
If you are interested, please reply back to the Director of Code Blue or call (469) 212-2815 (cell) for further information, or see your high school counselor for paperwork. This is a great opportunity and we hope you will consider it.
